Production Technician

Adecco is hiring staff for an innovative manufacturer of advanced composites, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, and prepreg materials serving the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries. We are a fast-growing company seeking hands-on team members who thrive in a manufacturing environment and are eager to grow their careers.

Position Summary

The Production Technician supports the manufacturing of prepreg and advanced composite materials by operating production equipment, preparing raw materials, monitoring processes, maintaining quality standards, and following safety procedures. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, mix, and prepare raw materials according to production procedures and batch records.

  • Operate mixers, pumps, coating equipment, and other manufacturing machinery.

  • Monitor production parameters to ensure product quality and consistency.

  • Package finished materials and store products appropriately.

  • Collect samples and accurately document production data and test results.

  • Report equipment issues, process deviations, and quality concerns.

  • Perform routine cleaning, equipment inspections, and basic preventive maintenance.

  • Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards, including proper PPE use.

  • Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Inventory, and R&D teams.

QualificationsRequired
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to wear respirators and other required PPE.

Preferred
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in chemical, resin, coatings, plastics, or related industries.

  • Experience with batch processing and chemical handling.

  • Ability to read SOPs, batch sheets, and technical work instructions.

  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.
