Production Associate Machine Operator Jobs in Salisbury, MD

We are hiring Production Associates to support daily operations in a food manufacturing environment. This position involves working on production lines performing boxing, stacking, loading, unloading, and palletizing food products. Associates will handle products weighing 15-20 pounds and assist with feeding materials into production equipment.

• Operate on production lines, including boxing and stacking products
• Load and unload products into machines for processing
• Palletize products and prepare them for distribution
• Open boxes containing empty glass bottles and feed them into production equipment
• Wrap pallets for shipment
• Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established safety procedures

• Experience in production, warehouse, or general labor environments
• Ability to lift 15-20 pounds regularly throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to following GMP standards

• Experience operating pallet jacks
• Experience with packaging and palletizing
• Comfortable working in a food production environment with strong odors, including garlic, jalapeños, and salsa

This position is located in a food manufacturing facility. Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and company-provided shirts.

The environment may include varying temperatures and strong food-related odors. Associates will spend the majority of the shift standing and working on the production floor.

Facility amenities include employee lockers and a break room equipped with microwaves and vending machines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, MD.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
