Job Title: Machine Operator - Level 1
Job Type: Full Time; Contract
Location: Freeport, IL
Schedule: 2nd Shift - 2:30pm-11pm
Pay Rate: $22.5
 
What You'll Do:
As a Machine Operator, you will have a direct impact on the production of essential products used in industries across the globe. You’ll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting various injection and compression machines. Here’s what your day will look like:
  • Monitor machinery to ensure smooth production processes for electrical safety products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and production efficiency.
  • Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
  • Use your creative problem-solving skills to contribute to process improvements.
  • Ensure quality by performing visual inspections, hand trimming parts, and using measurement tools to verify product specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, promoting best practices and efficiency.
 
Key Qualifications:
You Must Have:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to operate machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Pay Details: $22.50 per hour
