Position: Machine Operator
Shift: 7:00 am -7:00 pm or 7:00pm - 7:00am (12-hour shift; 2-2-3 schedule)
$2.00 Shift Premium!
Pay: $25

Do you have experience in trouble shooting and adjusting machines? Are you mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment?
We are hiring for a Machine Operator who enjoys working in a team atmosphere! The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and troubleshooting a 75 ft long machine. The ideal candidate must be able to work 12 hours on a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on), you get every other weekend off, able to safely lift up to 50lbs and able to reach 84 inches high. The Machine Operator must be very comfortable working in hot climate environment.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting, adjusting and basic machine repairs.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with heights up to 50 ft. and operating scissor and articulating lifts.
  • Must have an overhead reach of at least 84" while standing flat-footed.
  • Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12.25 hour (rotating 2-2-3) shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Ability to constantly walk and stand for 12 hr shifts.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.

How you contribute as a team member:
  • Continuously work as a hands-on Machine Operator.
  • Assist with equipment set-up, adjustment, change overs and operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical malfunctions.
  • Test quality and process finished product.
