Job Description

You will work as a Machine Operator 2P. This is a 1st shift role reporting to the production supervisor. You will work full time onsite in Cambridge, Ontario.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing and finishing equipment, including brake presses, CNC machines, shears, punches, saws, bending equipment, and paint systems.
  • Perform powder coat painting and finishing processes, including spray application, oven setup, surface preparation, grinding, buffing, and quality finishing to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot production equipment, wash lines, paint systems, and related machinery to ensure performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections, testing, documentation, and reporting activities, including Check-Do-Check processes, SAP transactions, FTPC reporting, and maintenance of production logs.
  • Support material handling activities, including unloading deliveries, moving parts, and maintaining supplies of chemicals and production materials.
  • Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and operational procedures while participating in 5S, Behavioural-based Safety, LEAN, and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Collaborate with team members across production areas, provide training and support to others, and maintain a positive, flexible, and customer-focused work environment.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education

SKILLS:

  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Blueprint reading
  • Reading and understanding written instructions, i.e., CSPs and DWIs
  • Use a computer to view, log, and find appropriate job-related information, i.e., SAP, FTPC
  • Work with business system computer software and machinery
  • Work In a team environment
  • Use manual tools and, power tools and machinery
  • Re-Tooling/Component Handling
  • Understanding of forming principles such as bend allowance, radius.

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:

  • Level 2: 1 Year Related Experience, High School Education/GED

PREREQUISITE:

  • Perform the responsibilities of a Machine Operator 1P.

  • Meet the requirement of Safety, Attendance and Code of Conduct policies
  • Consistently behaves in accordance with Rockwell Automation standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Walk/stand for long periods of time

  • Work with business system computer software and machinery
  • Work in a restricted (small) space.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from 43,760.00- 65,640.00 CAD Annual with an annual target bonus of 4% of base salary. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
