Job description

Overview

This position is for an Production Operator on 1st shift who will work in the Formulation department to support manufacturing of Bio-Rad production pools in compliance with established GMP processes and procedures.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Performs directed activities in the Formulation department to assist the manufacture of Core, Hematology and Diabetes product pools and intermediates.
  • Prepares for production by reviewing production schedule; assembling equipment and supplies.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures
  • Documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches.
  • Performs basic instrument operation and maintenance, etc.
  • Can assist in the troubleshooting instruments/equipment or reagents related issues and coordinates support operations.
  • Can assist the routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Reviews maintenance and/or equipment specific procedures.
  • This position is for a first-shift operator (Hours: 7AM to 3:30PM)

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate lab/test equipment
  • Experience operating manual, semi-auto and automatic production machinery preferred.
  • Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Team player/ flexible/ attentive to detail and quality minded.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $17.78 - $24.52 per hour at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.  As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
