Job description

Overview

The Module Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products are delivered to clients; HMGMA assembly lines in compliance with manufacturing specifications and company standards. Responsible for managing the cost of Module product and other operational processes, as well as ensuring that regular request from client is in compliance with regulatory requirements. Also, the role in studying new cost standards.

Responsibilities

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Using Excel and the Analysis of the Cost of the Product
  • Using PowerPoint and preparing documents for checking the development process
  • Maintaining good relationships with clients.
  • Submit a quote on the right schedule.
  • Project Management (Purchase, R&D, Quality, Delivery and Cost)
  • Research and find the best solution to persuade clients.
  • Price changes are made when unit prices change, such as through price fluctuation management, raw material changes, or logistics cost changes. Price changes are notified to relevant internal departments.
  • Review the Cost standard to identify materials needed for product assembly for all manufactured goods.
  • Planning skills required, experience in establishing mid- to long-term sales plans and business plans required.
  • Maintain a Mold cost database and include performance to calculate the mold cost using ICIMS.
  • Requires internal and external customer communication and organizational management skills as a manager.
  • Assign work and coordinate the activities of all subordinate employees.
  • All other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry-specific experience required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Detailed knowledge of Just in Sequence process and system in the Automotive industry
  • Analytical skills in engineering drawing
  • Comprehensive problem-solving skills across the plant
  • Proven Microsoft Office experience (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) & SAP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal management skills.

 

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in Just in Sequence for parts manufacturing (Injection/steel parts) in the Automotive industry (SQA, Procurement, Development, Manufacturing control)
  • Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / Mobis
  • Experienced in automotive assembly/manufacturing.
  • Preferred to be bilingual in Korean/English

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Driver's License needed.

Working Conditions:

  • Office setting.
  • Repetitive standing, walking within and between buildings.
  • Occasional travel to career fairs and off-site meetings
