Sensory Panel Assistant (Part-Time)

Pay Rate: $50/hour

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a laboratory environment? We are seeking a Sensory Panel Assistant to support product evaluation studies and sensory testing activities. This role is ideal for someone who excels at following detailed instructions, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent support to both team members and study participants.

Schedule

Must be available on Mondays or Thursdays during one or more of the following shifts:

  • 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM
  • 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
  • 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare product samples for sensory testing and evaluation
  • Set up testing panels and prepare study materials, ballots, and prep tests
  • Maintain accurate records and enter data into the Data Entry System
  • Track studies and compile reports as needed
  • Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and materials
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and disinfection of laboratory areas
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to panelists and visitors
  • Follow detailed protocols and instructions provided by the Panel Administrator
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to follow specific procedures and instructions accurately
