Position Overview:

The Associate Product Developer - Apparel & Accessories provides critical support to a new and growing product category. This role supports the delivery of apparel and accessory collections by managing development execution, sample coordination, and data integrity, ensuring accurate and on-time milestone completion.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, technically savvy, and highly organized individual with a passion for creating products at a luxury level.

About The Role:

  • Drive, oversee, and influence the development of assigned outerwear & apparel styles, with support from senior team members, from concept to commercialization, integrating innovation at all stages to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Design as a co-creation partner, with support from senior team members, to bring creative vision to life from concept & prototyping through commercialization.
  • Assist senior team members in the development process with building and maintaining tech packs, measurement charts, bill of materials and construction details.
  • Enter and maintain accurate product data in PLM and other internal systems to ensure full transparency and data integrity across teams.
  • Track prototypes, samples and development submissions; liaise with mills and vendors to manage timelines, resolve issues, and ensure delivery.
  • Organize and arrange shipping documents in partnership with Logistics for local and international vendors.
  • Organize and maintain sample closet inventory as well as the tracking of prototypes.
  • Attend fittings alongside senior team members, documenting fit notes and garment corrections, and following up with updated specs and vendor communication.
  • Assist with sourcing and organizing material submissions; maintain libraries and reference tools as needed.
  • Help maintain visibility on development timelines by updating trackers and status reports, identifying and escalating risks to timelines as needed.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, sustainability practices, and innovative techniques; support initiatives that streamline prototyping and enhance product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through feedback sharing.

About You:

  • 1-3 years of working experience in an Outerwear & Apparel Development Role
  • Education in Industrial Design, Tailored Design, Product Design, Fashion Design preferred
  • A Degree in Design is an asset
  • Familiarity in PLM, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator & photoshop.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Eagerness to learn and grow under mentorship from senior development professionals
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership for assigned responsibilities

Salary Range:

$53,000.00 - $74,000.00 / year
