Job description

Johnson Service Group is seeking Manufacturing Engineering Tech I’s for Day Shift and Swing Shift  for contract positions that may go full-time depending on performance.
Our client is growing fast and ramping up production!
Pay Rate:  $26.50 per hour(Day)

Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour(Swing)
Hours:  Day Shift: 6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Hours:  Swing Shift:  3:35 p.m. - 12:05 a.m.
Responsibilities:

  • Performing assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and working instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble components, modules, servers, and racks
  • Conducting quality checks on the functionality of components, modules, servers, and racks
  • Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
  • Document and report any discrepancies or issues in the assembly process
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the assembly workspace ·
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives


Qualifications:

  • At least five years' experience as a manufacturing technician, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools and equipment.
  • Ability in reading and interpreting technical documents (MPI/EI).
  • Knowledge of production processes in a related industry preferred.
  • Extensive experience in performing quality control procedures and meeting production standards.
  • Ability for production training in the areas of Assembly Process (MPI).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Working knowledge of computers and office software.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
