As a Production Technician I, you’ll be part of a high-performing manufacturing team that fabricates, assembles, and tests the electrical harnesses and components used in some of the most advanced aerospace applications globally.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • You will play a key part in producing high-quality wire harnesses and electronic assemblies that support aircraft safety, reliability, and performance. You will:
    • Perform incoming inspection of kits and materials.
    • Execute laser marking and alternate wire identification processes.
    • Create bag and harness labels for production accuracy.
    • Prep wires by stripping, crimping, and installing solder sleeves.
    • Terminate wires into electrical connectors with precision.
    • Build harnesses using form boards, engineering drawings, and standard wiring practices.
    • Conduct continuity checks and functional verification.
    • Assist with final bagging and kitting.
    • Work with complex terminations such as Quadrax and Coax.
    • Operate avionics test equipment, including digital multimeters and TDRs.
    • Follow all SOPs, wiring practices (SWP), and applicable FAA requirements.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts, including SOP revisions.
    • Maintain tool control, cleanliness, and quality standards.

WHAT YOU BRING:

    • Aerospace electrical or mechanical assembly.
    • Familiarity with aircraft standard wiring practices.
    • Skilled with precision hand tools.
    • Awareness of electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions.
    • Soldering experience (IPC-610 or J-STD-001 certifications a plus).
    • Ability to interpret color codes, drawings, and schematics.
    • High school diploma or trade school equivalent.
    • Basic computer and strong communication skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new tasks.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and support overtime/weekend needs.
    • Strong work ethic and dependability.
    • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
    • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug testing and any applicable company/FAA Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program that may be required.
    • Must be able to pass required background checks, including a 10-year TSA check if airport access or badging is required.
