Job description

Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company known for its innovative products and services. They are seeking a Director of Product Management for SecOps Detections within Google Cloud Security, responsible for leading the product vision and strategy for security detection capabilities, with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the product vision for Google SecOps detection capabilities by prioritizing artificial intelligence and machine learning over traditional rules-based heuristics, driving the evolution toward an autonomous SOC.
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and security engineering teams to develop and train dynamic detection models capable of identifying zero-day threats and sophisticated adversary tactics in real-time.
• Design intelligent, automated workflows that leverage Generative AI to provide instant context, automate triage, and recommend remediation steps, fundamentally reducing cognitive load for security analysts.
• Lead the integration of advanced ML capabilities across massive, telemetry streams within Google SecOps, ensuring detection mechanisms scale efficiently with our enterprise customers' growing data environments.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in product management or relevant experience, with a focus on enterprise software, cloud technologies, or security products.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in real-world products.
• Experience setting product vision and strategy for a product area.
Preferred:
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a passion for solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication, people, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders and large teams.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling innovative, large-scale products.
