Job description

Highbeam is building the future of business banking and cash management.
Our platform combines AI agents, automated financial workflows, and integrated financial products that save brands time and money.
Customers have generated billions in sales and include well-known brands such as Cuts, Tushy, NYON, Sabah, Still Here, Alice Mushrooms, Original Grain, birddogs, and more.
Our team includes alumni of Shopify, Square, Toast, Rippling, and McKinsey.
We've raised $42M in equity from Acrew, FirstMark, Mayfield, and Two Sigma Ventures.
About this role
We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the Intelligence product surface at Highbeam across banking, bill pay, cards, and treasury. You'll define how AI shows up in financial workflows, ship core agentic workflows (automated AP, treasury optimization, anomaly detection), and drive weekly product velocity from spec to launch. The bar is a meaningful product shipped fast, with adoption and monetization to match.
This role is based in our NoHo, NYC office.
What you'll do
  • Own the Intelligence product surface across banking, bill pay, cards, and treasury
  • Define how AI shows up in financial workflows (automation vs control, trust, explainability)
  • Ship core agentic workflows (e.g., automated AP, treasury optimization, anomaly detection)
  • Drive weekly product velocity: specs → build → QA → launch
  • Run continuous customer insight loops and translate them into product decisions
  • Own 0→1 product definition in ambiguous areas
  • Drive adoption and monetization, not just launches: ensure workflows are actually used
  • Improve speed of iteration across product (faster cycles, tighter feedback loops)
  • Contribute to product narrative + positioning

Net impact
  • Highbeam becomes known for AI-native financial workflows, not just banking
  • Faster shipping of meaningful product (not incremental features)
  • Measurable lift in product adoption (bill pay, cards, treasury)

Qualifications
  • 4-6 years PM experience; early-stage operator (PM #1-5 at Series A-C)
  • Comfortable with AI tools for iteration and product validation
  • Has built AI/LLM products as the core experience
  • Strong product builder: writes specs, QA's builds, ships end-to-end
  • High velocity, comfortable shipping weekly in ambiguous environments
  • Deep customer development instincts (regular user conversations, synthesis)
  • Strong product taste, especially in workflow + UX simplicity
  • Background in fintech or vertical SaaS (Ramp, Brex, Mercury, etc.)
  • Bonus: engineering background

You'll thrive at Highbeam if...
  • You love working in-person with a high-performing team
  • You enjoy working in an idea-meritocratic, low-ego environment
  • You are proactive and self-directed, and you excel in ambiguous, fast moving environments
  • You care about delivering a polished customer experience
  • Bonus: You have experience working in fintech, AI or early-stage startups

What we offer
  • Chance to join the founding team of a well-funded startup chasing a huge opportunity
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Great location: Our NYC office is in NoHo, a short walk from the A,C,E • B,D,F,M • N,Q,R,W • 1 • 6 trains. Our Toronto office is downtown near St. Andrew Station.
  • Generous PTO
  • Comprehensive health & benefits package
  • Stipends for lunch, commute, wellness, and purchasing customer products
  • Yearly offsite-last year we went to Mexico City!
