Job Summary

Under the direction of the Branch Management team, the Production Worker / Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse and production department. This role is responsible for performing various tasks related to the fabrication of hydraulic and industrial hoses, order picking, and contributing to production processes. The Production Worker / Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy with labeling of hoses, ensuring hose assemblies meet proper specifications, and operating hose crimp machines. This role also requires a keen attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals and create exceptional customer service.   


Essential Functions

  • Embody the ARG Industrial Core Values of authenticity, taking ownership, being helpful and collaborative, having a desire to elevate and evolve, and exhibiting grit. 
  • Manufacture industrial and hydraulic hoses, ensuring the quality of the finished product. 
  • Visually verifies product compliance to company crimp specifications. 
  • Identify and select proper components to assemble on a wide variety of hoses. 
  • Utilizes proper tools and equipment for each task, such as saws, crimpers, tape measures, and calipers. 
  • Document completed actions in ERP system. 
  • Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and products throughout the warehouse. 
  • Inspect products for defects and damages, reporting any issues to supervisors promptly. 
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock checks to reconcile discrepancies. 
  • Contribute to production processes, including assembly, packaging, labeling, and other tasks as needed. 
  • Complete department work assignments in a timely manner. 
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and productions areas to optimize workflow and safety. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Working Conditions

  • Working in moderately noisy environments, normal for warehouse environments, or industrial settings. 
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and repetitive movements throughout the workday. 
  • Occasionally climb stairs. 
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. 
  • Regularly lifting and carrying objects (50-100 pounds). 
  • Adherence to safety protocols. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Successfully pass drug test screenings throughout employment. 
  • Possession of valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately. 
  • Commit to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols. 
  • Demonstrating accountability for personal performance and quality of work.

Education

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
