The main difference between a Product Intern and a Product Associate lies in experience and employment status. Interns are usually students or recent graduates gaining initial exposure, often in a temporary role. Product Associates are full-time entry-level employees with some foundational knowledge, working more independently within product teams. Both roles serve as stepping stones into product management careers, but the Product Associate position typically offers more responsibility and stability.
