This role is responsible for gathering business requirements, mapping current and future-state processes, configuring system workflows and Bills of Materials (BOMs), documenting procedures, and leading system testing and validation efforts.

This individual contributor role requires a proactive, analytical self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and can navigate ambiguity with confidence. The ideal candidate leverages data to drive decision-making, identify process improvements, and enhance operational efficiency.

The ERP Specialist serves as a functional leader-guiding cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring system solutions improve internal workflows, elevate customer experience, and support scalable growth. • Identify short-term and long-term goals to improve order and product management in Agility
  • Define process for creating and maintaining new items and document SOP's
  • Correct BOM's when issues are shared by the production team
  • Implement new work order codes for a cleaner and more effective order entry process
  • Create a roadmap for new product implementation and coordination among many departments
  • Collaborate closely with production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • When notified by purchasing of discontinued product, flag product and communicate with Sales Team. Once inventory is depleted, deactivate code in Agility.
  • Complete requests for customer maintenance in Agility
  • Maintain data in Agility related to entry and production including but not limited to Supplier info, delivery routes and purchase orders
  • Support Inside sales with rare product requests and project production
  • Establish and maintain relationships with sales and production managers
  • Coordinate with Purchasing as needed for sourcing and product availability
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Works comfortably in ERP systems (Agility a plus) - ERP implementation experience is preferred.
  • Experience with building BOM's and overall BOM maintenance
  • Workflow process experience
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the building materials industry preferred but not necessary
  • Deep understanding and advocacy for user needs and pain points
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present ideas and build consensus
  • A positive attitude along with a growth mindset
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
  • Experience in a dynamic product management role or similar work experience
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams
