Summary
Summary: The Complex Product Assembly & Fulfillment Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of production for the product lines at the manufacturing plant. This position has responsibility for meeting production, quality, and budget targets within the product lines.This position reports directly to the Fulfillment Manager and involves managing and optimizing the production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Production Oversight:
  • Supervise and coordinate all production activities for product lines.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, being frequently available for operator questions, concerns, issues, etc.
  • Ensure production schedules are met and production targets are achieved.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations for the use of overtime to meet requirements.
  • Coordinate with various other teams to ensure timely execution of component manufacturing, supply chain and quality functions.
  • Participates in the evaluation of all open orders during the weekly schedule review meeting.
  • Implement and maintain best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Directly manage and provide leadership to production teams in a 24 hour/day, 5 day/week operation.
    • Establish and lead the day-to-day priorities of the process and employees.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to direct reports.
    • Mentor the assembly teams and promote employee development and work responsibilities.
  • Quality Control:
    • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the highest product standards are maintained.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Participates in the Quality Material Review Board Program.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Communicate production updates, challenges, and successes to the Fulfillment Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Provide team communication on company, plant and department objectives and performance.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics and KPIs.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated Leadership:
    • Leads by example and upholds the company's values.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Establishes strong internal relationships and collaborates closely with other departments to align strategies and drive coordinated efforts towards process improvement and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:
