Our customers consistently vote us as the best bank in our local markets. We value our employees, and we are committed to search out, recognize and create fulfilling opportunities for outstanding people within our organization, rewarding them for their contributions to our success. We recognize that banking is a "local" business, and that to be successful, we must have very strong ties to the communities we serve and strong relationships with our customers.

With benefits starting on day one, 12 bank holidays, profit sharing and company-matched 401(k) contributions, Zions is dedicated to being an employer of choice in our communities. At Zions, the possibilities are endless. You bring the talent; we bring the opportunity.

We are seeking a Product Manager - Product Development & Technical Solutions - to join our Bankcard Product & Services team. This team is responsible for the strategic direction, development, and management of our debit and credit card products across commercial, business, and consumer segments.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical and technically proficient product professional to make a measurable, highly visible impact. You will lead a broad program of initiatives aimed at modernizing our setups, integrations, and configurations with our primary card processing partners. You will serve as the crucial bridge between our business goals and technical execution, transforming how we build products and deliver next-generation capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead modernization initiatives focusing on technical setups, API integrations, and system configurations with our primary card processing partners.
  • Manage the technical product lifecycle and strategic roadmap for consumer and small business credit and debit card platforms.
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories for engineering teams and processing partners.
  • Collaborate extensively with internal partners-including IT, Operations, Implementations, Legal, Compliance, and Sales-to implement solutions, remove barriers, and ensure seamless technical execution.
  • Define and analyze platform performance metrics and system capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a primary technical liaison and subject matter expert between the bank and external processing partners.
  • Monitor project milestones, maintain accurate technical documentation, and report progress to executive leadership.
  • Educate internal stakeholders and operational teams on new technical capabilities, program enhancements, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in technical product management, payment processing systems, integrations, or bankcard operations.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical initiatives, platform migrations, or configuration updates from business case to launch.
  • Deep familiarity with major card processing networks, core banking platforms, and partners (e.g., TSYS, Fiserv, Visa, Mastercard) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, API concepts, MS Office Suite, and technical project management tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Effective negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong grasp of system architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Visa Sponsorship:

This Product Manager - Product Development & Technical Solutions position is currently not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.

Location:
