Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

CardVault by Tom Brady is seeking a detail-oriented and creative student to support the design and fabrication of our custom vault systems. This role will focus on using 3D modeling software to help design and develop components used in the construction of our high-end vault displays and storage solutions. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience at the intersection of design, engineering, and fabrication, working closely with our Fabrication Manager and external production partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Representative but not exhaustive. Other duties may be assigned.

Utilize 3D modeling software to design and refine vault components

Assist in creating technical drawings, renderings, and specifications for fabrication

Collaborate with the Fabrication Manager to translate concepts into manufacturable designs

Support revisions and iterations based on feedback from internal teams and fabrication partners

Help organize and maintain design files, documentation, and version control

Participate in site visits to our fabrication partner in Charlton, MA to observe production and support design implementation

Other duties as assigned
