Job description

At Rockstar Games, we create world-class entertainment experiences.

Become part of a team working on some of the most rewarding, large-scale creative projects to be found in any entertainment medium - all within an inclusive, highly-motivated environment where you can learn and collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry.

Rockstar Games is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management to help shape the future of Rockstar's Creator Platform ecosystem. This role focuses on building sustainable systems that empower creators to build experiences, attract players, and operate thriving communities.

As a member of our team, you will need a critical and creative eye capable of putting forth innovative solutions to complex problems. Working with a wide variety of technical and non-technical partners, you will be tasked with cultivating and delivering a vision for the platforms.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

WHAT WE DO
  • Rockstar's Creator Platform team builds and operates technology platforms that enable creators to develop their own game modes, experiences, and modifications and players to experience community-created content on fully customized servers.
  • We create tools and services that empower creators to build, publish, operate, grow, and monetize their experiences.
  • We work at the intersection of games, creator ecosystems, platform infrastructure, community, and innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive product initiatives from concept through launch and iteration, including opportunity definition, prioritization, requirements, launch planning, and post-launch analysis.
  • Define product strategy and roadmaps for key Creator Platform areas in partnership with leadership, engineering, developer relations, analytics, publishing, and operations.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative inputs - including player and creator feedback, analytics, and market analysis - to inform prioritization and product decisions.
  • Identify opportunities and challenges across the creator ecosystem, including creation tools, publishing, moderation, discovery, operations, and monetization.
  • Improve existing platform and commerce capabilities while exploring new services, business models, and growth opportunities for our Creator ecosystem.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 8+ years of product management, strategy, consulting, or related experience building technology platforms or digital products.
  • Experience operating live platforms with user-generated content, communities, or creator ecosystems, including moderation, reliability, performance, and trust & safety considerations.
  • Experience with digital economies, marketplaces, or monetized ecosystems where pricing, incentives, and supply dynamics influence user behavior.
  • Experience building developer or creator platforms, including tools, APIs, SDKs, or systems used by developers or creators.
  • Strong product judgment and communication skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate trade-offs, and influence diverse cross-functional team members.
PLUSES

Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.

  • Experience working on creator platforms, UGC products, developer tools, marketplaces, digital economies, or live-service game products.
  • Familiarity with online communities, modding ecosystems, or player-driven platforms where community dynamics shape product outcomes.
  • Experience designing or operating creator ecosystems where multiple participant groups (creators, players, platform operators) interact through shared incentives such as monetization, discovery, reputation, or marketplace systems.
  • Experience with experimentation, monetization, marketplace systems, or platform growth initiatives.
  • Passion for gaming, online communities, and user-created content.
HOW TO APPLY

Please apply with a resume and cover letter demonstrating how you meet the skills above. If we would like to move forward with your application, a Rockstar recruiter will reach out to you to explain next steps and guide you through the process.
