OverviewThe Product Detailer is responsible for supporting accurate and timely work order detailing. Working closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering, this role helps ensure that customer orders are translated accurately into production-ready work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret purchase orders and input data into internal systems using our product configurator.
  • Generate clear and accurate work order instructions and documentation.
  • Collaborate across departments to clarify project details and meet order deadlines.
  • Ensure all job details align with HMF SOPs and manufacturing requirements.
  • Maintain organized documentation and workflow across systems.

RequirementsWhat You Need to Succeed

  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic understanding of architectural drawings or order entry templates (training provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Technical aptitude and solid math skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the commercial door and frame or building materials industry is helpful, but not required.
  • History of working successfully in a team environment.
  • Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
