Position Summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Quality Control Inspector to support the Miami, FL area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to the Jorgensen quality management program (JQMP), inspections, documentation, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures. Must possess excellent customer service, attention to detail, and computer skills (Word, Excel, general), with good communication skills and a preference for administrator support.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections on completed work in the field in a timely manner that adheres to the appropriate schedule
  • Complete proper documentation for inspections and assist with entering data into the in-house management system
  • Ensure that during all parts of the work schedule and the completed work meets all guidelines related to federal, state and local regulations.
  • Communicate with management and other team members when problems arise and offer possible solutions
  • Assist the Project and Quality Team with developing, implementing, and monitoring quality processes and procedures.

Required Experience: 

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish

Preferred Experience:
  • Roadway, highway structure, and/or tunnel maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with the Infrastructure or similar industry 

Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Excellent general computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, General
  • Excellent organization and independent work skills
  • Ability to read DOT plans in order to inspect completed work

Schedule:  Full time; typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-4:00PM. Must be flexible and work varying schedules.
