Position Summary...Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fastpaced retail environment. The Produce Stocker delivers excellent customer service by living Walmart's values, maintaining a wellorganized and fully stocked produce area, and supporting the sale of fresh products. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready
Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
Check Product Quality and Freshness
Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing
Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards
Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
Stock Merchandise and Set Displays
Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
Follow Health and Safety Guidelines
Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
