Malone Staffing Solutions is seeking versatile, multi-skilled individuals to join our team as Food Production Associate for a manufacturer and producer of meat-based protein snack bars and chips in Winchester, KY.

Food Production Associate Benefits:

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00/hour

Position Type: Temporary to full-time hire position

Schedule: First shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Food Production Associate)

Second shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM (Food Production Associate)

First shift: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Food Production Associate)

Second shift: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Food Production Associate)

First shift: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Forklift)

Second shift: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Forklift)

Overtime: Optional

Location: Winchester, KY

Additional details: Weekly pay, eligibility for PTO and Holiday pay and benefits available

Food Production Associate Duties:

• Set up packaging machines and scales according to production requirements

• Maintain quality specifications throughout the production process

• Adjust scales to ensure accurate measurements and packaging

• Monitor and maintain packaging speeds based on package size and product type

• Complete shift production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting techniques

• Perform equipment and scale setup as needed

• Monitor and maintain fryer oil levels for optimal performance

• Ensure seasoning levels are adequate and adjust seasoning application as necessary

• Conduct oil filtration procedures to maintain equipment integrity

• Implement waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and minimize losses

Food Production Associate Skill & Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Able to meet attendance requirements

• Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.

• Proficiency in equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
