Please note that sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.OverviewUtilize established techniques, standards, and tools like computer-aided drafting software to provide routine drafting support and prepare designs and technical drawings to specifications. Coordinate and consult with engineers to complete projects.Essential Job Duties:Prepare designs and drawings and ensure design drawings adhere to provided specifications with employee, customer, and end-user safety as the basis for all projects. Modify existing designs for custom applications. Generate drawings for manufacturing, foundation construction, and installation using CAD.Maintain and update product designs through product revisions and Engineering Change Orders. Perform development testing and evaluation of designs in preparation for production as well as regulatory submittals.Provide design recommendations to quote non-standard products.Contribute to the development of sales literature, service manuals, and 3D models for demonstration purposes.Provide engineering technical support to manufacturing, quality assurance, and vendors to obtain components.Support compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policy.Other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications - Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD and drafting. Proficient in reading and producing engineering drawings using CAD. Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D and Inventor (2012 or better) is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills. Critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.Work Environment - Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.General office conditions, exposed to moderate noise levels. Must be able to don PPE including hearing protection, safety boots, or glasses where required in the on-site manufacturing areas, exposure to loud noises, outdoor conditions, emissions, and dust.
