SUMMARY

The County Market Cake Designer is responsible for providing the highest quality cakes to customers in everyday presentation and special orders, gaining product knowledge and working in a safe manner. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
  • Proper designing including variety and merchandising in the cake case and other display fixtures and cases.
  • Designs and ices cakes by hand and with kits
  • Plans and produces all special cake orders in a timely manner
  • Promotes product
  • Responsible for stock levels
  • Pulls stale product
  • Fills freezer
  • Fills cake rack
  • Makes icing
  • Keeps design area clean and washes dishes
  • Follow all Health Code guidelines
  • Follows all store and department policies and procedures
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
  • Other duties as assigned
