Job Summary:
Under the guidance of the Department Supervisor, evaluates materials, fabricates prototypes, or specials that cannot be produced on the main product lines. Is able to perform daily verification checks on machine setups, acquire skills to be specific operational experts on the production lines. Perform quality checks using golden samples provided by engineering in day-to-day operations. As an operational expert, step in and run equipment as needed to assist production with outputs and/or prove operational capability. Assist and perform production functions which may fall outside the roles of maintenance or production personnel. Assist Engineering on specific process evaluations and studies.

  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.
