Responsibilities:

  • Stock and rotate produce, dairy, bakery, meat and bulk product for freshness.
  • Understanding of proper product trimming, rotation, culling and crisping techniques and procedures, in order to ensure high quality, product attractiveness and shelf life.
  • Merchandise product for a full and fresh presentation.
  • Receive product, inspect for freshness and correct quantity from outside vendors.
  • Rotation and organization of product in walk in cooler.
  • Drive sales in the store by following sales guidelines and procedures including sampling, selling produce with passion and enthusiasm and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist management team with maintaining a visually appealing store by ensuring proper housekeeping, visual merchandising, and organization are kept to the highest standard.
  • Support in-store promotional and marketing events.
  • Adhere to quality, sanitation, and safety guidelines by following established policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Support compliance with all federal, state, and local laws to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ability to start natural, friendly conversations with customers and resolve issues with a smile.
  • Other duties as assigned.
