Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Support Specialist to assist the purchasing team with daily procurement activities. This role is responsible for supporting sourcing efforts, coordinating with vendors, processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate procurement records, and helping ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the purchasing team with sourcing activities and vendor research.
  • Assist with obtaining quotes, pricing information, and supplier documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and procurement-related inquiries.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy of procurement transactions.
  • Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and vendor information.
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare procurement reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational purchasing requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
