JOB SUMMARY
The Procurement Liaison performs a variety of duties to ensure the organization is engaged with the procurement department and P2P processes. The Procurement Liaison will procure Capital Equipment, Construction Services, and Medical Surgical Products in accordance with all contractual and financial requirements. Equipment and Construction Services will be benchmarked and/or competitively bid as appropriate to ensure HonorHealth is maximizing value.
The Procurement Liaison will work with all stakeholders, including Construction, Facilities, Finance, Legal, Requesters and Medical Center Leadership at all facilities in performing daily tasks/responsibilities. This position has a fiduciary and customer relations responsibility to protect HonorHealth's assets and best interest in all purchasing related activities. Responsibilities include project management, supplier performance management, Sourcing, pricing/contract negotiation, order placement/tracking/delivery, service excellence, problems solving, root cause analysis, strategy development, and invoicing accuracy. They may assist other Buyers as necessary to cover peak volumes of standard supply and service orders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include project management, supplier performance management, Sourcing, pricing/contract negotiation, order placement/tracking/delivery, service excellence, problems solving, root cause analysis, strategy development, and invoicing accuracy. They may assist other Buyers as necessary to cover peak volumes of standard supply and service orders.
  • Develops and Manages purchase orders that comply with contract terms including multiple/staged deliveries, multiple pre-payment/payment terms. Complies with HonorHealth Polices and Government Law/Regulation with regards to the procurement goods and services. Continually works with Suppliers to obtain appropriate finalized quotations, address all issues regarding order details, delivery, invoicing exceptions, etc. Develops additional or alternate sources of supply for important materials. May maintain purchasing procedures for disaster situations.
  • Serve as the liaison to Accounting/Finance, Accounts Payable, facility Supply Chain Management (SCM), Supply Chain Shared Services (SCSS), for all procurement matters related to HonorHealth including problem resolution and process improvement to drive efficiency, timely payments, invoice accuracy, proper reporting and operations for purchases. Collaborate in development and maintaining of adequate safeguards for preventing losses. Works with facilities Supply Chain Management to ensure order processes are efficient and operating as intended. Provides facility level engagement to educate HonorHealth staff about purchasing.
  • Adheres to established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance and safety standards. Assists the Clinical Support teams with monitoring projects, quality, and standardization of products. Serves as a frontline contact for Procurement Operations working closely with all levels of the organization regarding procurement workflow, operations, and projects. Functions as a team player assisting others in carrying out departmental duties and tasks. Coordinates special projects as assigned. Assists with the sale of scrap, obsolete, and surplus equipment.
  • The Procurement Liaison will develop a comprehensive understanding of the objectives, measurements, and key transaction types within the Procurement department. The essential function of this position is to communicate, update, and maintain information within the Procurement department, organization and vendor customer base to ensure our processes and procedures are followed and understood. Responsible for driving processes and improvement initiatives within HonorHealth Procurement related to the oversight of operations.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelors or 4 years' work related experience in advanced Supply Chain Management role. Supply Chain/Procurement focus Required
