Job description

BaRupOn LLC is a Texas-based energy and infrastructure company specializing in resilient power systems, including battery storage, hydrogen facilities, and grid-stabilizing renewable installations. Position Summary

BaRupOn is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Materials Procurement Officer to manage the purchasing and logistics of construction materials for projects in Liberty, TX. This role will ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing, delivery, and inventory control of materials to support field operations, with a focus on reliability, accuracy, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Source, purchase, and track construction materials including concrete, rebar, conduit, cabling, structural steel, piping, and fasteners

Establish vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and bulk purchasing agreements

Maintain procurement logs, material trackers, and purchase orders for ongoing projects

Work closely with site managers, engineers, and superintendents to forecast and fulfill material needs

Verify material deliveries, inspect for quality, and coordinate returns or replacements as necessary

Ensure all purchases align with project budgets and schedules

Manage on-site inventory and coordinate storage and staging plans

Monitor market trends and lead times to optimize procurement strategies

Prepare procurement reports and participate in progress meetings as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management in construction or industrial environments

Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment for civil, electrical, and structural scopes

Proficiency with procurement software, spreadsheets, and document control (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Excel)

Excellent negotiation, organization, and communication skills

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and solve problems under tight timelines

Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for vendor visits or site deliveries

Preferred Experience

Experience in energy, utility, or infrastructure project environments

Familiarity with Texas-based suppliers, DOT materials, and jobsite delivery coordination

Working knowledge of construction drawings and specifications

Background in inventory control, ERP systems, or construction logistics planning
