Procurement Manager
Location: Albany, Oregon
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Position Overview
We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the procurement function and develop a high-performing team. This role will provide strategic leadership across sourcing, supplier management, process improvement, and KPI-driven performance management.
The Procurement Manager will also oversee the stabilization and optimization of the organization's ERP system as it relates to procurement processes, purchasing, inventory, supplier management, and reporting. This position will play a key role in driving cost savings, operational efficiency, and cross-functional value.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, procedures, and governance to create a standardized and efficient procurement function.
  • Use market insights to lead strategic sourcing decisions that support organizational objectives and annual operating goals.
  • Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the procurement organization.
  • Stabilize, optimize, and maintain the organization's ERP system as it relates to procurement, purchasing, inventory, supplier management, and reporting.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP-related procurement issues while driving system enhancements.
  • Establish and manage strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management to maximize value and service levels.
  • Develop and drive organizational discipline around key procurement performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in operational daily management systems (DMS).
  • Implement performance dashboards and reporting processes that provide visibility into procurement operations and support executive decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.
  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of the Procurement Team.
  • Coach and develop team members to build a cohesive, high-performing team.
  • Identify, recruit, and retain top talent.
  • Set performance standards and support employee growth through delegation, continuous feedback, goal setting, and performance management.
  • Foster an inclusive, safe, and respectful work environment.
  • Empower employees to take ownership of their learning and professional growth.
  • Maintain transparent communication through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, email, and regular interpersonal communication.
  • Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in procurement and supply chain leadership, along with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience leading and managing teams.
  • Experience supporting or leading ERP implementation and stabilization, such as Infor M3 or a similar system.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier performance management, and procurement best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and business knowledge.
