Procurement & Sourcing Manager

Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc. (GCH), the parent company of Bema, Inc., Elite Extrusion Technology, and GCH Employee Leasing, Inc., is seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain operations. This role is ideal for a strategic professional with a proven track record of supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment while building strong supplier relationships and driving operational excellence.

Position Summary

The Procurement & Sourcing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the purchasing function, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services that support company operations. This position develops and executes sourcing strategies, manages supplier relationships, mitigates supply chain risks, and ensures compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of 10 years of sourcing or procurement experience in Manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, customers, and suppliers.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • A strong understanding of policy compliance and vendor certification requirements.
  • Experience in the flexible packaging manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and PrintVis is a plus.
  • Advanced computer proficiency and experience with purchasing and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of purchasing and supply chain operations.
  • Develop sourcing strategies that support business objectives and ensure supply continuity.
  • Identify and communicate potential supply chain risks and mitigation strategies to management.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure optimal value for the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee supplier qualification, approval, and performance review programs.
  • Conduct supplier audits and site visits to ensure compliance with company standards and objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement or replacement when necessary.
  • Exercise sound judgment and professional discretion in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support organizational success.
