Job description

As our Procurement Manager, you will leadprocurementstrategy for ENGIE’s distributed solar photovoltaic and solar-plus-storageportfolio, helping secure the equipment and commercial terms that directly shape project competitiveness and delivery. You will work at the portfolio level with Development, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Project Delivery teams to forecast needs, source long-lead materials, evaluate suppliers, negotiate agreements, andallocateequipment to projects. You will managea logisticsprofessional and a battery energy storage system technical advisor, coordinating vendor relationships, transportation, storage, delivery, and compliance documentation. This role will translate changing market, regulatory, and project requirements into responsive procurement plans that support safe, reliable, and cost-effective renewable energy projects.

  • Lead strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations for photovoltaic modules, inverters, battery energy storage systems, and other long-lead equipment and services.
  • Build procurement strategies that align equipment availability, project budgets, engineering requirements, domestic content requirements, FEOC regulations, and investment tax creditobjectives.
  • Develop supplier relationships, competitive bidding, contract management, vendor performance, market intelligence, and supply chain risk mitigation programs.

What You’ll Bring

  • MinimumBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum seven years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management,logistics, contract administration, or related renewable energy work.
  • You must have experience understanding of EPC project delivery, renewable energy supply chains, domestic content requirements, and suppliercompliance.
  • You can independently lead negotiations, procurement planning, vendor relationships, and cross-functional decisions in a dynamic market while communicating responsively and respectfully with stakeholders.
  • You also bringthe leadershipand organizational skills to manage a small team, balance multiple portfolio priorities, and convert market intelligence into cost-effective sourcing decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing photovoltaic modules, inverters, battery energy storage systems, or comparable renewable energy equipment.
  • Working knowledge of supplier qualifications, contract administration, equipment allocation,logisticscoordination, transportation planning, and vendor performance management.
  • Experience with negotiation, communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the agility to respond to changing regulations, pricing, schedules, and project needs.
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record use of company vehicle, ability to drive to site locations
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consists of 10% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

Compensation

Salary Range: $129,030– $197,846 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
