Job description

Overview

The Legal Transformation role exists to define and execute strategies that modernize and optimize legal processes, systems, and ways of working across the enterprise legal function.  Its ultimate goal is to deliver sustainable improvements in contract lifecycle management, compliance, and risk mitigation through digitalization and process redesign.  This includes implementing advanced legal technology platforms, streamlining workflows for contract drafting and review, and embedding automation to enhance efficiency, agility, and value realization within legal operations.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy Activation & RoadmappingDevelop strategic vision into actionable scope, milestones, and measurable outcomes.  Fully accountable for developing and maintaining a multi-year roadmap with quarterly and annual checkpoints aligned to enterprise priorities, ensuring disciplined execution across all legal transformation initiatives.
  • Program & Portfolio DeliveryDelivery of enterprise programs such as contract lifecycle, compliance, and risk management.  Establish clear charters, critical paths, RAID logs, and value cases to guarantee on-time, on-budget delivery and drive tangible business value.  This position will own delivery of several projects/programs within the S&T organization.
  • Governance & Stakeholder ManagementLead governance forums and steering routines, preparing executive-level materials for decision-making.  Align legal, finance, procurement, IT, and regional stakeholders while escalating decisions and unblocking dependencies to ensure transparency and speed.  Accountable to ensure proper preparation and alignment on key decisions and global platforms.
  • Technology EnablementOversee implementation and adoption of legal technology platforms including Icertis/NEXO, ServiceNOW, and OneLaw.  Drive integrations, enforce data standards, and enable platform interoperability to accelerate digital transformation.
  • Process Design & Operational ExcellenceAccoutable for leading the redesign processes for efficiency and compliance by mapping current and future states, standardizing templates and workflows, and embedding controls.  Apply lean methodologies to remove friction and reduce cycle times.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time of subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years in operations, enterprise transformation, or strategic development
  • Proven track record of leading transformation initiatives in matrixed organizations
  • Understanding of process design and technical platforms
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies preferred
