Position Summary
The INVENTORY COORDINATOR/RECEIVING SPECIALIST is responsible for supporting our procurement operations by performing a variety of tasks including proper preparation of materials for transportation, accurate documentation of inventory and transportation information, and collaborate with teams to ensure professional and timely client service.
  • Recording information of company assets on specific applications
  • Tagging assets for tracking purposes
  • Checking assets in and out to company employees
  • Gathering assets to company requirement maintenance
  • Building Company designed equipment kits
  • Ensures accurate booking with shipping companies
  • Verifying product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping
  • Safely operating forklifts or other material handling equipment
  • Tracking and documenting inventory transfers
  • Ensuring accurate materials are received and complete quality control checks
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement with internal needs
  • Assisting the Purchasing Manager with inventory, material management, or other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Ability to work 40+ hours a week
  • High School Diploma/GED Certification
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in an inventory, warehouse or related environment
  • Forklift Certified
  • Ability to make repetitive movements, including bending/squatting
  • Proficient in applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
  • Ability to work alone or within a group
  • Self-driven to completion of job
  • Strong commitment to personal and team safety
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
  • Effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the team, customers, and external contacts., via telephone, in written form, email, and in person
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Excellent customer service skills

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to travel from 10-20%
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50lbs
  • Ability to sustain a level of physical activity, including walking, climbing, bending, and sitting
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures and manufacturers' guidelines
  • Requires the ability to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance on the job
  • Valid active driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle
  • Ability to pass all random DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Experience with FlowTrac, or similar ERP systems

Salary Description
$22 - $27 per hour based on experience
