Position Summary

The Superintendent oversees daily operations on-site to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and safely. They will coordinate with subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure quality standards are met. The Superintendent will communicate regularly with the General Manager, Project Manager, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals. They are responsible for maintaining site safety, resolving issues, and keeping daily progress notes. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.


Responsibilities

  • Required to be physically present on assigned jobsites daily throughout the workday for the duration of the project
  • Direct and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, correctly, timely, with high-quality, professionally and per scope; escalate issues to the PM and GM as necessary
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites, including occupied or active environments.
  • Anticipate and resolve field issues that could impact schedule, cost, or customer satisfaction
  • Execute the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager and General Manager
  • Identify scope gaps, inefficiencies, or cost risks early and communicate through appropriate channels promptly
  • Enforce safety standards and site-specific safety plans
  • Ensure subcontractors comply with OSHA requirements and safety expectations
  • Address unsafe conditions immediately and document incidents appropriately
  • Communicate professionally with clients, property managers, residents, and internal CAMP teams
  • Represent the company positively at all times while managing expectations and resolving concerns in real time
  • Complete daily jobsite notes in Procore, including progress, manpower, issues, and photos
  • Ensure documentation supports billing, change orders, and dispute resolution when needed
  • Build strong relationships with reliable trade partners and contribute to building and maintaining a strong subcontractor bench

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, & Experience

  • Experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role
  • Experience in multi-family, capital improvement, restoration, renovation, or commercial construction
  • General familiarity with common construction means and methods (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, framing).
  • Strong understanding of how scope, schedule, and field decisions impact project financials
  • Experience using construction project management or documentation software (e.g. Procore or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA 30 preferred (not required)
  • Construction-related certifications a plus
