ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Deal Processor to be a key player in our business office. You will cap deals and handle a mix of everyday accounting tasks that keep the store running clean. This is a detail-oriented seat for someone who takes pride in accurate paperwork, tight deadlines, and a well-organized office. This role does not include title clerk duties - that side is handled separately.
Pay: $19-$24 per hour, based on experience. Prior dealership office, deal processing, or accounting experience is strongly preferred and paid at the top of the range.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cap deals in the DMS - review deal jackets for accuracy, verify funding, and post to the appropriate accounts

  • Book new, used, and wholesale deals and reconcile them against F&I paperwork

  • Handle basic accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks - coding invoices, cutting checks, applying payments

  • Post factory rebates, holdback, incentives, and manufacturer statements

  • Reconcile schedules, clear open items, and follow up on aged receivables

  • Support month-end close by keeping schedules current and clean throughout the month

  • Communicate with Sales, F&I, and outside vendors to resolve missing paperwork or funding issues quickly

  • Maintain organized, audit-ready deal files and accounting records

  • Provide general business-office support and back-up as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior dealership office, deal processing, or accounting experience strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with dealership DMS platforms (Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack, or similar) is a plus

  • Working understanding of dealership accounting basics - schedules, journal entries, AP/AR - will train the right candidate

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new software quickly

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented - accuracy is the job

  • Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple deals / files at once

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
