Position Summary:

Your Impact (Essential Duties)

  • Print, assemble, and organize tax returns and related documentation for delivery to clients.
  • Prepare and distribute tax organizers and other client materials as directed.
  • Print and organize SurePrep workpapers and ensure documents are properly stored within firm systems.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining tax records, files, and processing documentation.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, certified mail, courier shipments, and tax return deliveries.
  • Support invoicing and client delivery processes by ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assist with tax season logistics and administrative support activities.
  • Communicate processing status and outstanding items to team members as needed.
  • Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
  • Support a positive team environment by collaborating effectively and assisting others during peak periods.
  • Identify errors or processing issues and bring them to the attention of leadership.
  • Maintain familiarity with firm systems, workflows, and processing procedures.
  • Assist with front desk; answer calls and greet clients.
  • Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership.

Your Background

  • Previous experience in an administrative, processing, clerical, or office support role preferred; experience within a public accounting or professional services environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and team-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems, software, and firm processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with tax software, document management systems, or workflow tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and commitment to following established procedures and quality standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential client and firm information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support team members during peak periods, including tax season.

Colorado compensation range for this role is $21.00-$25.00/ per hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Discretionary incentive compensation is based on firm, group, and individual performance.
