This position is hybrid and requires 4 days in Toccoa, GA or Greenville, SC.

The VP of Infrastructure leads and directs the management of the 1FFC enterprise infrastructure. The VP builds and runs the technology foundation that 1st Franklin utilizes for everyday business needs. This role ensures infrastructure is reliable, secure, recoverable, the scalability and accessibility of applications or services.

The VP provides strategic insight, development of the team, and maintenance of infrastructure service catalogue. He/she will ensure strong flow of communication with stakeholders and technology investments align with business desired outcomes.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES

Ensure infrastructure systems are reliable and aligned with business across networks, database servers, and end user technology.
  • Monitor, alert, and resolve incidents--reducing MTTR
  • Regular patching and resolution of identified vulnerabilities
  • Manage Infrastructure's service catalogue against SLAs
  • Design and invest in systems with high uptime to meet business needs
  • Continue proper logging and management of issues and changes according to policy
  • Create, maintain, and follow runbooks to execute consistently and accurately
Oversee planning for business continuity and maintaining plans
  • Includes documented and updated BCP and DR plans
  • Execute regular DR scenarios and document outcomes
  • Plan for proper backups and recovery, focusing on company established RTO and RPO
Build infrastructure business model
  • Maintain clear hardware and software standards
  • Utilize automation to perform low-value or high frequency tasks
  • Automate network tooling, monitoring, and segmentation
  • Develop processes and design systems to prevent issues and recover quickly and gracefully
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
  • Undergraduate degree related to technology
  • Minimum five 5 to years' experience leading technology professionals
  • Designing networks and phones systems across several hundred locations
  • Azure cloud maintenance and optimization
