Reporting to the Manager, Operations, the Cash Management Officer is an entry-to-mid-level individual contributor responsible for executing day-to-day transaction processing, account reconciliations, and routine administrative duties for dividend disbursements and Dividend Reinvestment Plans (DRIP) within the TSX Trust division. The Cash Management Officer ensures standard financial flows are balanced accurately, processes daily account activities, maintains Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, and provides general operational support under the guidance of Senior Officers and the Team Lead.

This role is hybrid 3 days/week in the office - based in Toronto, ON

Key Accountabilities:

  • Daily Transaction & Account Processing: Set up new plan participants, perform routine account enrollments, withdrawals, and terminations. Input optional cash contributions and process standard investment data share buys on the system.

  • Financial Balancing & Reconciliations: Balance basic funds, share amounts, and tax information for assigned plan accounts. Monitor NSF items from cash contributions and verify incoming deposit wires from clients.

  • Disbursements & Documentation: Prepare and issue standard cheques representing proceeds from the sale or termination of shares. Generate, inspect, and prepare shareholder statement outputs, reject letters, and certificates for mailing.

  • Compliance & AML Checks: Perform routine Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verifications on optional cash payments in accordance with established operational policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Administrative Support & Scanning: Manage daily OnBase document scanning and assignment activities. Support the broader team's regular high-volume mailing activities.

  • Inquiry Handling & Operational Reporting: Research and respond to basic requests for information from Call Centre staff and assist with routine plan correspondence. Maintain weekly and monthly statistical data for fee and performance reporting purposes.

Must Have(s):

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of administrative or operational experience in financial services, trust administration, or dividend/DRIP processing.

  • Education: College diploma or university degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Financial Acumen: Strong numerical and basic reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.

  • Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with financial services software, cash balancing, and basic capital markets processes is considered an asset.

  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage routine tasks, organize daily priorities, and meet consistent short-term deadlines in a high-volume environment.

  • Communication & Teamwork: Good verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team structure.

Salary Range: 50,000/year - 54,000/year CAD
