The Role at a glance:

Sign on Bonus $1,500 ($750 paid out after 90 days of employment, $750 paid out after 6 months of employment)

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated executive chef for our Collegiate Dining team in Albany. As an executive chef, you will have the opportunity to prepare delicious, healthy food for students, faculty & guests.  

What you'll be doing:
  • Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
  • Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of special events.
What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

  • At least four years of progressive culinary experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
  • Experience with budget statements.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Previous experience in Higher Education Dining 
  • Previous experience in food service contract management 
  • Associate's degree in culinary arts.
