Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to support plant operations by improving equipment reliability, maintaining mechanical systems, and ensuring safe and efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while adhering to the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities Activ ely participate in all safety initiatives and consistently follow safe work practices. Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment according to established schedules. Inspect machinery, identify equipment issues, and remove unsafe or defective equipment from service until repairs are completed. Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and rebuild mechanical systems and equipment as needed. Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and cross-functional teams. Read, interpret, and follow safety procedures, operating manuals, maintenance instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Operate, inspect, lubricate, maintain, and repair plant systems and equipment. Complete work orders, inspection reports, material usage records, requisitions, time records, and other required documentation. Assist, direct, and train other team members when working on collaborative projects. Inspect and maintain plant buildings, concrete forms, bollards, and related infrastructure. Perform water treatment and fire protection equipment testing and make necessary corrective adjustments. Support plant operations during equipment cleanouts, shutdowns, and emergency situations to minimize downtime. Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team, including the use of firefighting equipment, spill response equipment, self-contained breathing apparatus, CPR, and First Aid procedures. Operate mobile equipment and lift trucks as required. Complete all required computer-based training (CBTs) and job-related training programs. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications Mechanical Journeyman Certification or a minimum of 5 years of verified experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Strong knowledge of: Pn eumatics Hydraulics Power transmission systems Welding and cutting techniques Mechanical troubleshooting and repair Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and technical documentation. Demonstrated ability to diagnose equipment issues and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic mathematical skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and measurements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with machine safety practices, including: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Machine guarding Hot work procedures Ability to operate or obtain certification to operate lift trucks, JLG equipment, and similar machinery. Ability to work all shifts, including rotating 12-hour sc hedules. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, or production facility. Experience serving on an Emergency Response Team. Knowledge of water treatment systems and fire protection equipment. Experience operating various types of mobile equipment.
