Won't you join us?Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Research, process flow design, and develop foam fabrication manufacturing process to optimize productivity and workflow (workstation). - NOTE: Work together with NPI (Ind Eng.) for new process and products. - Machine and/or equipment, process manufacturing design / material flow. - Work together with Operations to evaluate procedures and recommend solutions for improvements - Process Technician responsible to collect data (time studies, scrap, down time - Create and develop SWI (Sequence Work Instructions) to standardize common processes and assure consistent and stable manufacturing - Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations - Work with other plant process engineers on the integration of new and existing processes or best practices (OEE, Scrap, MUV, CI Budget goals) - Aid in the systems and procedures of the repair and maintenances of equipment. - Train shift floor lead on equipment's SOP & SWI together with production supervisors and HR. - Ensure process audits have been conducted. - Maintain and develop SQDC standards. - Assist teams in implementing 6S and maintain a standard development and audit approach throughout the site.Qualifiations: Training Required: - Green Belt certified preferred - Training in Lean Initiatives preferred - Leadership, Effective Planning, Time Management Education and/or Experience Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited university in engineering or related sub-field such as chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering - Strong interpersonal skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work well independently and with a team - Proficiency with computer and information technology - Specialized industry-specific training strongly preferred - Thorough understanding of scientific and mathematical principles - Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) Desired Traits: - Microsoft Office - Proficient/Advanced user of excel and PowerPoint/Power BI. - Experience with Minitab advanced/Jump statistical software preferred. - IATF 16949 - Basic knowledge. - ISO 14001 - Basic knowledge. - CELC - CTPAT - OEA - Basic knowledge. - SAFETY - Basic knowledge.
