Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Intern will assist in supporting department processes, including inventory tracking, asset audits, mobile device and other asset management, and processing business invoices and purchase orders in a dynamic office environment. This role provides support in a high-paced emergency medical and aviation environment, collaborating with other members of their team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of IT processes. Under the direct supervision of the Director of IT, the role includes business process analysis and needs assessments to align IT solutions with business initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide high-level customer responsiveness, excellent documentation, communication skills, and attention to detail.

  • Research and manage technology solutions to align with business needs.

  • Draft and update system documentation and network diagrams.

  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.

  • Undertake other IT projects as assigned by management.

  • Conducts asset management, including tracking and inventory of IT equipment.

  • Performs asset management audits to ensure accurate records of all IT hardware and software.

  • Conducts Air Watch audits, ensuring the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system is optimized and up to date.

  • Carries out cell phone audits, verifying device compliance and usage alignment with company policies.

  • Maintains strict attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and systems.

  • Collaborates with the IT team and cross-functional departments to resolve issues and support projects.

  • Assists in maintaining IT documentation and procedures.

  • Assists with processing business invoices and purchase orders.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
