What will YOU be doing for us? The IT Asset Management Intern supports internal end users and the IT Asset Management team by assisting with hardware, software, and telecommunications-related requests. This role uses internal systems to process requests, maintain accurate asset records, document resolutions, and support day-to-day asset lifecycle activities.

What will YOU be working on every day?

  • Perform physical hardware tasks, including shipping equipment to users, processing returned equipment, and supporting the secure destruction or disposal of retired equipment.
  • Use internal tools to accurately document the status, ownership, and location of IT hardware assets.
  • Assign and reclaim software licenses while maintaining accurate licensing records.
  • Monitor and manage incoming requests through the internal customer ticketing system by taking ownership of assigned tickets, documenting actions and resolutions, resolving issues in a timely manner, or escalating requests to the appropriate team when additional support is needed.
  • Communicate hardware purchasing needs to appropriate internal team members to help maintain adequate inventory levels for new and existing employees.
  • Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned by the manager.
