The Refill Pharmacy Technician Supervisor provides day-to-day operational leadership and frontline oversight for the centralized Refill team, supporting IU Health providers and clinics statewide to ensure timely patient access to medications. Reporting to the Refill Pharmacy Manager, the Supervisor coordinates daily workflows, monitors performance expectations, and ensures regulatory compliance. Key duties include, but may not be limited to:

  • Scheduling
  • Workload distribution
  • Training and onboarding support
  • Performance feedback assistance
  • Serving as an escalation point for workflow issues

The role collaborates closely with peers, clinicians, nurses and pharmacists to drive workflow improvements, standardize processes and performance metrics, and maintain high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and service quality, while also fostering team engagement and contributing to the ongoing growth of the Centralized Refill program.

About this role:

  • Monday-Friday days schedule based on team calendar
  • No weekends, no holidays
  • Hybrid opportunity up to 3 days work from home after training and successfully meeting metrics
