Full time
The primary responsibility of this position is to operate precision etching equipment and meet production goals on a consistent basis. Team members in this position must adhere to environmental,health and safety standards.
Your role and responsibilities:
  • Operate chemical etching equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
  • Follow all writen procedures and cordinate with process engineer when abnormal conditions are encountered.
  • Participate in end of shift turnovers with ability to effectively communicate.
  • Must operate equipment (for example,pumps,GLV's,filter presses,reactors,valves,ph probes,ovens,forklifts, etc) independently after initial training is complete.
  • Responsible for understanding basic chemical reations and proper handling of chemicaals within the work area.
  • Responsible for handling and porcessing hazardous waste as required within the work area.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawing.
  • Operate precision inspection equipment and record results.
  • At times may be required to wear hearing protection, and half-mask respirator, and other forms of PPE.
  • Support other production areas and departments as needed to meet company-wide goals.
