Company: LOLO Hospitality at Tallgrass Tap House
Position: Service Team- Servers, Hosts, Runners & Bartenders
Job Classification: Part Time/ Variable Hour, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Service Lead or Assistant General Manager

Summary of Role: Members of the Service Team hold the positions of Server, Bartender, Host and/or Runner. Service Team members provide genuine hospitality to guests while acting as productive members of our team. They are expected be knowledgeable, guest focused and able to process information and tasks quickly.

Work Schedule: We'll work with your schedule! Weekends required. Number of hours depends on availability.

Key Responsibilities: 
Servers, Bartenders, Hosts and Runners each have role-specific responsibilities related to guest service and food/beverage handling. ALL service team members are expected to:

  • Maintain cleanliness at all times
  • Communicate professionally & efficiently with guests and colleagues
  • Work to master menu knowledge
  • Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties
  • Act as a teammate by continually assisting others
  • Perform additional service related duties as assigned by managers

  • Be able to communicate in and understand the predominant language of our guests
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Natural empathy; passion for creating memorable experiences of hospitality
  • Ability and willingness to move quickly, efficiently and safely through the restaurant
  • Strong work ethic to execute demanding work under pressure
  • Positive attitude that remains consistent under pressure


Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to be on your feet & walking up to 8 hours
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times during a shift
  • Ability to reach & lift above the head as needed
  • Ability to lift, balance and move items up to 30 lbs. (Primarily this will be large food trays)
  • Ability to squat, bend, and twist your body as needed
  • Ability to function in a work environment that is, at times, hot, loud, in tight spaces with colleagues, contains wet and slippery surfaces
