Job description

Aristocrat Process Serving, headquartered in Overland Park, KS, has for over 25 years been setting the national standard in service of process and legal court filing. They are a technology-forward, client-driven firm built on professionalism and compliance. They are expanding field operations across the country with a current focus in the South Carolina areas of York, Newberry, Edgefield, Aiken, Orangeburg, Colleton and Clarendon.

Positions are available for Full and Part-Time Process Servers and Leads.

These are high-trust, self-managed field positions responsible for executing timely and compliant service of process across defined metropolitan territories in South Carolina. The Lead ensures every job is completed with due diligence, maintains communication with the National Director of Field Operations, and provides guidance and mentoring to supporting process servers within the region.

Aristocrat leverages industry-leading technology to route, track, and close each job. The Lead is expected to operate within that platform with speed and accuracy, ensuring every affidavit of service is returned within the service window. Compliance with all applicable SC Rules of Civil Procedure and applicable federal rules is expected on every single job — no exceptions.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Operations (All Servers)

• Execute personal service, substitute service, and posting service in compliance with SC Rules of Civil Procedure and applicable federal rules

• Complete each job packet — defined by a returned, compliant affidavit of service — within the assigned service window

• Operate Aristocrat's technology platform to accept, route, update, and close job assignments in real time

• Maintain GPS compliance, timestamped attempt logs, and photographic documentation as required per job type

• Adhere strictly to all timelines, skip-trace protocols, and attempt requirements set by each client matter

• Uphold NAPPS ethical standards for process server conduct in all field activities

Leadership & Coordination (Lead Server)

• Serve as primary point of contact for process servers working within the assigned metro area

• Provide on-the-ground guidance, mentoring, and procedural coaching to area servers

• Escalate service issues, difficult addresses, and evasion patterns to the National Director of Field Operations

• Review and quality-check affidavits from area servers before submission to ensure compliance

• Represent Aristocrat's values of professionalism, accuracy, and customer service in all field activity

Reporting & Administration (All Servers)

• Submit daily field activity reports through the Aristocrat platform

• Maintain accurate vehicle mileage, service logs, and attempt records

• Participate in scheduled check-ins with the National Director of Field Operations

• Flag compliance concerns, client escalations, or recurring service obstacles proactively

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required

• Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States (I-9 required for W-2 employees)

• Valid SC driver's license with clean driving record

• Reliable personal vehicle with current registration and insurance

• Smartphone with data plan — Aristocrat's mobile platform is required for all job management

• Ability to self-manage a dynamic daily workload without direct supervision and adhere to all timelines

• Strong written communication for affidavit preparation and daily reporting

• Must pass background check (criminal and driving history)

Preferred

• Prior experience as a process server, field investigator, or courier in a legal or court environment

• Familiarity with SC county court systems, clerk offices, and sheriff service procedures

• NAPPS membership or certification, or knowledge of NAPPS professional standards

• Experience supervising or mentoring field staff

• Knowledge of skip-tracing methods and evasion documentation best practices
